Luca Cattaneo
Programmable Foundational Group ESEs Team Manager, EMEA

Luca Cattaneo is the Embedded Solutions Engineers’ FPGA Team Manager in EMEA at Microchip, joined the company from the most recent acquisition of Microsemi, where he has been serving the company in various technical positions before taking on his current role in 2013. Luca brings over 28 years’ experience in HW architectures & design, ASIC/FPGA, and standards in several market sectors Consumer, Industrial, Military, Space. Prior to joining, Luca was a senior member in the R&D department of Lucent Technologies & Bell Labs, and prior to that design engineer in R&D at Siemens-Italtel. Luca has several granted patents and holds a Master of science in Electronics Engineering from Polytechnic of Milan, Italy.
