During this time he has been an active participant in the full design chain perspective from high volume consumer product design at Panasonic, to Tier 1 semiconductor distribution and finally to present day global semiconductor design, solution, support and manufacturing at NXP Semiconductors.

In his current role, Francesco is responsible for identifying new opportunities and applications, providing consultative technical and marketing assessments and offering comprehensive solutions to support regional marketers, sales teams, distributors and customers.

Francesco is also responsible to perform technical and marketing training sessions on Microchip Mixed Signal and Linear portfolio, on new products introduction and reference designs.

He earned the master’s degree diploma in Microelectronics Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, and he grew up professionally in Germany working as Analog IC Designer and Product Engineer for around 17 years and he is now part of Microchip Technology Inc., and based in Munich, since 2022. Francesco is a passionate of sport, playing basketball and soccer. He has been further appointed Industrial Power and Energy Segment Global Leader in July 2024.

Muggeri got the Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy. In 2014, he received an EMBA degree from the Global Asia Program, organized by the Business School of London, Columbia University of New York, and the University of Hong Kong. In recognition of his contribution to the electronics industry, Muggeri was awarded the 2023 Asia Executive of the Year by EETimes and EDN from Aspencore.

Eric Chou is currently the Head of the Power & Energy Competence Center – Asia Pacific at STMicroelectronics. He leads a seasoned engineering team focused on in-house solutions development and ecosystem-building across industrial alliances. His work includes partnerships and joint laboratories with IDHs, customers, distributors, and universities. Eric is actively engaged in new business development related to ST’s latest wide bandgap technologies.

Eric joined STMicroelectronics in 1997 as a Field Application Engineer for power products in Taiwan, focusing on Power PWM controllers. In 2002, he transitioned to Marketing Manager, driving business development for Power PWM controllers. From 2006 to 2012, he served as Senior Manager of the GCSA Competence Center, followed by his role as Key Account Director, supporting a major global customer from 2012 to 2020. He has held his current position since March 2020.

Dino Costanzo, Application Director & Head of Motor Control Competence Center (MCCC), China and APAC, STMicroelectronics, has 20 years of experience in application development, in the field of System solutions for Motor Control.

Dino graduated with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Catania, and joined STMicroelectronics Italy in 2006, where he was appointed as the Project Leader of STM32 Motor Control Firmware Library (MCSDK), and taking the role of coordination of the joint developments with Universities. He moved to Shenzhen in 2015, where he is now directing the MCCC of China and APAC regions, working on the development of advanced solutions for the industrial market, comprising HVAC & Appliances, Servo Drives, Power Tools. His research interests are in the field of HFI sensorless, multiple motor control, integration with edge AI and digital power, acoustic noise reduction, motor currents reading, where he’s author of 8 US granted patents, and 6 applications pending.

Under his leadership MCCC has been awarded consecutively for “best motor control platform” by specialized reviews.

Didier received his engineering degree from in the "École Nationale Supérieure d’Électronique et de RadioÉlectricité de Bordeaux", France in 1992 and his Ph. D. degree in Power Electronics from the University of Bordeaux in 1997. In 1996, he joined AEG Power Solutions, formerly Alcatel Converters, as a research engineer for DC-DC and AC-DC converters design in a range of 1 W to 1 kW mainly for telecom equipment. He managed the research activities from 2000 to 2014. He published more than 10 papers on power electronics. He holds 1 patent. From 2011 to 2013, he worked 18 months on a 15-kW solar inverter (DC-AC) module for a 150-kW cabinet in Dallas, Texas, USA. His main interests during this period were switching mode power supplies, converter stability and modeling and high-power factor rectifiers.

He joined Fairchild Semiconductor in August 2014 as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) supporting south of France, Spain and Portugal. In 2016, onsemi acquired Fairchild. In 2018, he moved to a new role inside onsemi. He is currently a Business Marketing Engineer for Europe focusing on power devices and Silicon Carbide.
