Diodes advanced IntelliFET® self-protected power switches are designed for switching resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads in harsh environments where there is a need for immunity from radiated and conducted emissions. Consequently, they are ideally suited for use in a wide range of automotive and industrial applications.

Internally, these switches combine a power MOSFET with a comprehensive array of protection circuits. These safeguards shield against damage caused by ESD, overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature conditions. By sensing the presence of any of these potentially catastrophic conditions, they protect both themselves and the connected load, thereby enhancing the overall reliability of the system. Furthermore, the integrated diagnostic features not only elevate system performance but also contribute to the identification and resolution of faults within the subsystem.

The product range includes both high-side and low-side switches available in single and dual-channel configurations. A selection of low-resistance integrated MOSFETs provides for compact and flexible designs. Compatibility with signal levels from microcontrollers makes interfacing straightforward.
