RL78/G23 - ultra–low power advanced function MCUs
The RL78/G23 is a product reflecting the needs from IoT endpoints and applications that require low power operation. New features and expanded functions are implemented, while it maintains compatibility with existing RL78 products, so users will be able to migrate from existing RL78 products easily.
Compared to other low-end MCUs, it excels at low power, BOM cost reduction and Easy to Use. Compared to RL78/G13 our RL78/G23 offers increased ROM/RAM size (maximum 512KB/32KB to 768KB/48KB), equips new functions such as SMS and ELCL. And also touch keys, remote control receiver circuit, D/A and comparator, TRNG, customer ID and unique ID as security functions, output current selectable port and 40mA output port are implemented.
