Gilles Beltran - President
Before becoming President of Avnet Silica, Gilles Beltran was Vice President Sales & Supplier Management for Avnet Silica. Gilles joined Silica in 2002. Since then he has held a number of different sales positions and quickly advanced from the field to management. He brings with him a strong knowledge of both the electronics distribution business, and the Avnet internal processes.
Trained in sales, and with an electrical engineering degree (Master), Gilles started his career at onsemi in 2000 as a product manager before joining Silica.
Maryannick Dauba - VP Business Engagement EMEA
As Vice President of Business Engagement for EMEA, Maryannick manages the entirety of EMEA from a business engagement perspective for Avnet Silica. With a degree in International Negotiations, Maryannick speaks several languages after living in Spain, Canada, the UK and France. Before starting with Avnet Silica, she worked in several roles, such as Regional Sales Manager, Corporate Accounts Manager and Product Marketing Manager. Her entire career has been in electronic components Distribution.
Mark McGill - Regional VP North Europe
Mark has been with Avnet for 15 years where he has been in a number of roles including Business Development, Sales Management and most recently Director of the Avnet Abacus and Avnet Silica combined sales front-end team in the UK & Ireland. Before joining Avnet, he spent 9 years working at Vishay based out of the UK working with their distribution network.
Tal Segman - Regional VP East and Middle East
As RVP Sales for Avnet Silica, Tal holds the responsibility for Sales strategy, Business Development and Revenue growth for the emerging Eastern European region and the Middle East (mostly Israel). Tal, located in Israel, has vast experience in the Semiconductor market being with Avnet since 2001 in different Sales and Sales Management roles. Prior to his current role with Avnet Silica, Tal served as the Managing Director of Avnet Israel responsible for all Avnet activities in Israel including the Avnet chip design center known as Avnet ASIC.
Lucio Fornuto - Regional VP South Europe
Lucio is Avnet Silica's Regional Vice President of South Europe. He holds a master's degree in electronic engineering and an executive master's in business strategy. He joined Avnet in 2007 as a Field Application Engineer and has held various other roles throughout the years, including responsibilities in the EMEA Technical Marketing Organisation, Supplier Business Management, Regional Sales Management, and Regional Technical Leadership.
Michael Speyerer - Regional VP Central Europe
Michael has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He joined Avnet Silica in 2015, following several management roles within the industry. He drives sales regions and technical marketing activities, and he is responsible for the Central European regions. Michael has a degree in economics and in-depth market knowledge; he is also an expert in state-of-the-art supply chain models and processes.
Laurence Dellicot - Sr. Director, EMEA Supply Chain
Laurence Dellicott, Senior Director at Avnet Silica, has responsibility for the EMEA Supply Chain. Laurence holds a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He joined Memec in the UK as a graduate in 1998, and has since held various roles in application support, business development, and regional and EMEA leadership positions.
Thomas Foj - Vice President Supplier Management, Solutions, and Digitilisation
Thomas is Avnet Silica's Vice President Supplier Management, Solutions, and Digitalisation EMEA. He is a specialist author for Talent Management, Semiconductor Trends and Long-term Supply Solutions in the Automotive industry. Prior to Avnet Silica, Thomas worked for Atmel, CS CLEAN SYSTEMS, Texas Instruments and Infineon in several international leadership roles. He holds an MBA from Pfeiffer University and an international Engineering Diploma.
Lisa Rees - Director of Marketing & Communications
Lisa is responsible for all aspects of marketing and communications at Avnet Silica, including supplier marketing, digital strategy, media, content and events. She joined Avnet Silica after ten years as Director of Marketing Communications at Avnet Abacus, and has held management roles at the Chamber of Commerce, Nexus PR and Covea Insurance. Lisa holds a joint honours degree in Economics and French and is a certified change manager.
An Rutten - HR Business Partner
An Rutten, HR Business partner, provides consultative leadership to Avnet Silica in order to drive business success through people development. An holds a degree in Human Resources and is certified in Change Management (ADKAR), Insights, Predictive Index and DDI. She joined Avnet in 2000 and provided HR support to Avnet Logistics, Premier Farnell, Avnet Silica, Avnet Abacus, EBV Elektronik, as well as the corporate functions in the Benelux region including a large number of big business projects such as the TS carve-out and project FIT.
Rico Dornieden - Sr. Manager of Business Controlling
As Business Controller for Avnet Silica, Rico focuses on the key financial drivers of the business and how they can be improved. Prior to becoming Avnet Silica Business Controller, he worked as Business Controller and Analyst for Avnet Abacus for over 8 Years. Previously, he spent five years in a similar role at Sun Microsystems. Rico holds a Master’s degree in business.
Ben Robinson - Sr. Director of Business Operations
In his current role, Ben leads Business Operations for Avnet Silica across Europe. Ben joined Avnet through the acquisition of Memec in 2005. Working initially in internal sales, he has spent more than 10 years in process improvement roles, firstly within Avnet Memec and Silica, and later in Enterprise Effectiveness where he led sales processes for EMEA. Ben re-joined Silica as part of the new Business Operations department in 2018. Prior to joining Avnet, he worked in a variety of project and management roles, principally in database marketing and the exhibitions industry.
Marie Finas - Associate General Counsel EMEA
As legal counsel, Marie supports the Silica business with adept legal guidance, ensuring its operations align with the most appropriate and efficacious legal parameters. With solid experience in European distribution and industry, she joined Avnet in 2022. Marie holds master's degrees in Law and Management from HEC Paris, Business Law from Aix-en-Provence's Law University, and International Relations from Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence.
