PIZZA & CHIPS is a compact, practical and highly interactive EBV training format designed for engineers who want to move beyond slides and directly work with real technologies. In a focused half-day session, participants explore semiconductor and embedded solutions through hands-on exercises, guided demonstrations and project-oriented application examples. The concept combines technical learning with an informal and collaborative atmosphere: practical engineering work, direct access to EBV Field Application experts, and time to discuss individual design challenges over pizza and refreshments. Each workshop is built around a dedicated technology, product family or supplier solution. Participants gain practical insights into key device features, development tools, evaluation boards, software examples and design best practices that can help accelerate their own development cycle. The format is limited to four hours, with more than three hours dedicated to practical, hands-on engineering work. This keeps the session efficient, focused and easy to integrate into a busy working day.

• Timing 
  • The workshop takes place in the morning and is limited to four hours, making it easy to combine with regular project work.
• Location
  • Sessions are hosted at the EBV office in Dietikon or at a selected technical university, depending on the topic and setup requirements. 
• Costs
  • The workshops are free of charge for invited participants.
• Participants
  • Each session is limited to a maximum of seven participants to ensure a high level of interaction and individual support.
• Evaluation Kits
  • Evaluation kits are available during the workshop. The target is that each participant receives a free-of-charge evaluation kit after the training, subject to availability and supplier conditions.
• Parking
  • Parking options will be arranged or communicated in advance.
• Catering
  • Food and beverages are provided. Pizza selection will be coordinated before the workshop so participants can enjoy lunch in a relaxed setting
