Vishay’s new family of 200 V FRED Pt® ultrafast rectifiers combines high current capability, excellent efficiency, and compact packaging for industrial, commercial, and automotive applications. Available in single- and dual-diode configurations with current ratings from 6 A to 15 A, the devices are offered in both commercial and AEC-Q101 qualified automotive versions.
Packaged in the low-profile DFN6546A package with wettable flanks, these rectifiers help designers reduce PCB space while improving thermal performance. Advanced die placement technology and an optimized copper mass design enable higher current ratings, while wettable flanks support automated optical inspection (AOI) for streamlined manufacturing.
Featuring a low forward voltage drop of 0.75 V, fast reverse recovery time, and low reverse recovery charge, the devices minimize power losses and increase system efficiency. Typical applications include DC/DC converters, high-frequency inverters, freewheeling diodes, polarity protection circuits, automotive ECUs, ADAS systems, battery management systems, industrial automation equipment, and telecom power supplies.
