Highly integrated ultra-low power Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Arm Cortex-M33 MCU
The RA6W1 System on Chip (SoC) delivers dual‑band Wi‑Fi 6 across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, enabling fast and reliable connectivity for next‑generation IoT devices, even in congested environments. Powered by an Arm® Cortex®‑M33 at 160 MHz with 704 KB SRAM, it supports demanding applications while integrating strong security features, including XiP with on‑the‑fly decryption, TRNG, AES‑256, secure key storage, and secure boot. The RA6W1 is Matter Ready and Matter certified, supports a wide range of interfaces, and offers multiple low‑power modes with sleepy‑connected operation.
The RRQ61001 and RRQ61051 are Wi‑Fi 6 wireless modules based on the RA6W1 MCU, providing standalone, single‑chip solutions with dual‑band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi‑Fi, flexible peripherals, and advanced power management. The RRQ61051 additionally integrates 8 MB Flash, a 40 MHz crystal, RF matching components, and three antenna options. Both modules achieve near‑zero power consumption by dynamically disabling unused MCU resources when idle.
