The NCV84003G (NCV84003GPAR2G) is a fully protected single-channel 12 V high side eFuse from onsemi's SmartGuard family, designed to replace mechanical fuses in smart power distribution and zonal architectures. With a 3.6 mΩ RDS(on), it supports load protection up to 15 A nominal and 85 A transient, switching bulk capacitors, bulbs, solenoids, and other actuators in the 12 V automotive powernet (35 V max load dump).

Built on the same silicon and TSSOP14-EP package as the NCV84003F SmartFET, the NCV84003G adds advanced features tailored for zonal applications: a smart low-power IDLE mode with auto-transition, a dedicated capacitive load charging mode with auto-entry/exit, an adjustable overcurrent threshold, and a built-in, fully adjustable I²t profile that emulates conventional melting fuses. It is package- and pinout-compatible with the Infineon BTG7 series, offering a drop-in path with the added benefit of more flexible I²t implementation and independent load management.

The NCV84003G is ASIL B-rated (ISO 26262), AEC-Q100 qualified, and PPAP-capable, with proportional analog current sense and discrete fault levels on the CS pin for fault differentiation and configuration/status readback.
