Copper clip technology
This design replaces traditional wire bonds with a large-area copper clip that directly connects the semiconductor die to the leadframe, dramatically improving electrical conductivity, reducing thermal resistance, and lowering package inductance by up to 3.x compared to conventional designs.
With a compact 12 x 12 mm footprint and only 2.5 mm height, CCPAK1212 offers top-side and botton-side cooling options, which improve thermal dissipation and power density, outperforming traditional bottom-cooled packages like TO-220 and D²PAK-7 in demanding environments.
