A new industry standard called Matter (former Project Connected Home over IP) is emerging to reduce fragmentation across different Internet of things (IoT) devices and to achieve interoperability among the different ecosystem providers. Project Matter is backed by over 180 major players in the IoT industry, including for example Apple, Amazon, Samsung, Google. Matter physical transport layer is fully based on IPv6 to enable complex network topologies in future.
Nordic Semiconductor will introduce project Matter and how it can be used to implement interoperable IoT devices with Nordic Semiconductor's multi radio protocol SoC (nRF52840/nRF53).
Avnet Silica will introduce some of the new sensor technologies for home & building including image sensors, multi region time of flight sensors, air quality sensors etc.
F-Secure will present the how security should be implemented for home & building and why it is important.
