Terms and Conditions of the business Raffle Event

1. Organiser
The raffle is organised by Avnet Europe BV – Silica division, with registered offices at De Kleetlaan 3, 1831 Diegem, Belgium, hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser".
2. Eligibility
Participation is open exclusively to the registered guests of the AMD Embedded Tour held throughout June 2025, including employees of customers, suppliers, or business partners.
Participation is voluntary, free of charge, and not linked to any purchase of goods or services.
Participants must:
- Be aged 18 or over;
- Be officially registered at the event of the Organiser;
- Be legally authorised by their employer to participate in such raffles under applicable internal policies;
- Confirm that participation does not violate their organisation's code of conduct, binding agreement or local legal restrictions.
Exclusions:
- Employees from public sector companies or agencies and (governmental) officials are excluded from participation.
- Employees, directors, shareholders with a conflict of interest and their direct family members (parents, siblings, spouse, partner, and children), agents or representatives and/or anyone associated with the running of the raffle are not eligible to enter this competition.
3. Raffle Mechanics
Each eligible participant will receive one entry into the raffle during the event. The draw will take place at the closing session, and winners will be selected at random under the supervision of a neutral party or event representative.
Unclaimed prizes will mean that the prize remains unclaimed.
4. Prizes
Prizes will be modest in value and selected to align with local laws and corporate hospitality guidelines.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
5. Compliance
The Organiser undertakes to comply with all applicable anti-bribery and gift/hospitality regulations.
Participants are responsible for ensuring their participation is permitted under their own employer’s internal policies and applicable laws. Participants shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with their own employer’s internal policies including but not limited to tax declaration and gift and hospitality register, and with all applicable taxes, duties or other charges payable in relation to all the prizes, in case of winning a prize.
6. Data Protection
Personal data collected for the purpose of the raffle will be processed in accordance with the Organiser’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation (e.g., GDPR). Data will only be used to administer the raffle and will be deleted after the event.
7. Liability
The Organiser is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from participation in the raffle or acceptance of the prize, unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
No responsibility will be accepted for entries which are not received for any reason, including technical error, pixels and plugins installed on entrant’s device that may block receiving information or effect competition results.
Prizes are not supplied with the benefit of any warranties from the Organiser and are only supplied with the benefit of any warranty provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the prize. All further warranties or representations are hereby expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted at law. Without limiting the generality of the preceding statement, the Organiser hereby excludes all and any liability arising out of the Competition or the acceptance, use, quality condition, suitability or performance of the prize, even where arising from the Organiser’s negligence.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the place where the business raffle event takes place, unless otherwise required by local mandatory consumer protection laws.
By participating to the raffle, the participant acknowledges and agrees in full to those terms and conditions.
