The COP is part of the Xilinx product line-up with devices that are feature-set optimized and priced for markets like industrial automation as well as higher volume medical appliances used in clinical settings.
The COP product-line spans multiple Adaptive SoC and FPGA device families to address:
- Industrial controllers, smart sensors, IIoT gateways, patient monitors, defibrillators, AEDs and point-of-care Ultrasound
- Popular Industrial Networking and Video/Vision connectivity standards
- Enhanced connectivity for custom interfaces and high fan-in/fan-out
- PCIe accelerator for x86 host processors and embedded processors and peripherals for smart devices at a competitive price point with a wide range of scalability.
Xilinx recently introduced the new Artix Ultrascale+ family of FPGAs, along with the new ZU1 MPSOC and even with a new package of considerably smaller size and height as part of the expanded COP portfolio. The ZU1 to ZU3 family of SOCs provide an alternative solution to standard SOC-ASSPs (application specific standard products) for many industrial and medical applications.
