Jakub Jirsa holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Czech Technical University. He has been working as an Application Engineer at STMicroelectronics in Prague since 2016, focusing on digitally-controlled power supplies and GaN products. His current research interests include enhanced control techniques for high power density SMPS.

Bodo’s Power Systems

Bodo received his engineering degree from Kiel University of Applied Sciences in 1976. His professional life comprises decades of engineering, application design and marketing of power semiconductors with companies including RCA, GE and Harris Semiconductor. He was a member of the PCIM Conference Advisory Board for many years. In 2006 he launched Bodo’s Power Systems magazine, which today still continues to serve the power electronics industry worldwide.

Thomas studied electrical engineering in Austria with a strong focus on power electronics and energy distribution. He worked in several engineering roles as well as R&D team leader before he moved on to the FAE role at Avnet Silica where he supports today customers in central Europe with their designs in the field of power electronics.
