onsemi’s Silicon Carbide (SiC) technologies webinar
online, on-demand
Accelerating decarbonization is driving a demand shift towards the installation of more energy infrastructure systems including DC fast chargers (DCFC), solar inverters and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Adopting Silicon carbide (SiC) based power stages plays a critical role in reducing power losses, increasing power density, and reducing cooling costs. Selecting highly robust SiC power devices built with infrastructure-class reliability in mind is a key part of designing best-of-breed long lasting, rugged energy infrastructure systems.
In this webinar, we will discuss:
- The design requirements and challenges for DC fast chargers, solar inverters and battery storage systems.
- onsemi’s robust SiC discretes and highly integrated, performance-optimized SiC modules which target the topologies used in the power stages.
- How onsemi’s end-to-end manufacturing starting from silica and graphite and finishing with complete module solutions ensures high supply quality and dependability.
