NXP LPC84x MCU family

NXP LPC84x MCU family

32-bit power-efficient ARM Cortex-M0 MCUs with best-in-class connectivity

NXP’s LPC800 series MCU offers a range of low-power, space efficient, low-pin-count options for basic microcontroller applications. An ultra-efficient, 30 MHz ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core delivers deterministic, real-time performance. A range of versatile timing, connectivity, and analog peripherals equip LPC800 series MCUs to handle a wide range of applications that prioritize low pin count, small footprint, or stringent low-power requirements. Unique to low-end devices, all LPC800 series MCUs include a switch matrix and patent-approved SCTimer/PWM, giving embedded developers unprecedented design flexibility.

The LPC84x are an ARM Cortex-M0+ based, low-cost 32-bit MCU family operating at CPU frequencies of up to 30 MHz. The LPC84x support up to 64 KB of flash memory and 16 KB of SRAM. The LPC84x family features exceptional power efficiency in low-current mode using the FRO as the clock source. The peripheral complement of the LPC84x includes a CRC engine, four I2C-bus interfaces, up to five USARTs, up to two SPI interfaces, Capacitive Touch Interface (Enablement coming in Q3), one multi-rate timer, self-wake-up timer, SCTimer/PWM, one general purpose 32-bit counter/timer, a DMA, one 12-bit ADC, two 10-bit DACs, one analog comparator, function-configurable I/O ports through a switch matrix, an input pattern match engine, and up to 54 general-purpose I/O pins.
