The Renesas Synergy™ Platform is a new, easy-to-use, qualified platform designed to accelerate time to market, reduce total cost of ownership and remove many of the obstacles engineers face as they develop embedded products. With this new platform, product development can start at the API level, providing more time to design innovative and differentiated features for IoT devices. The Renesas Synergy™ Platform integrates qualified software with a new family of MCUs and an ecosystem of tools and support options into one scalable and secure platform.

Renesas Synergy™ platform

A complete and qualified platform that accelerates embedded development, inspiring innovation and enabling differentiation. The total Renesas Synergy Software solution consists of the Synergy Software Package (SSP) together with specialty add-on software components that are qualified and verified extensions to the SSP, all accessible through a common API layer.

The  SSP  was  developed  under  strict  Renesas  Software  Quality Assurance  requirements  and  in  accordance  with  industry  best practices. Maintained as commercial software over a lifetime, the SSP is warranted to operate within the specifications published in  a  datasheet.  Renesas  is  the  first  MCU  supplier  to  make  this step.  A  rich  ecosystem  of  third  party  software  components  is opened  by  a  selection  of  Verified  Software  Add-Ons  (VSA)  on the Renesas Synergy™ Gallery, all certified to be SSP-compatible for seamless expansion of the SSP into specialized functions.
