New Product Introduction

Renesas DA14535

DA14535 - SmartBond TINY™ DA14535 Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.3 SoC

Renesas DA14535

The DA14535 is an ultra-low power SoC integrating a 2.4GHz transceiver and an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller with a RAM of 64kB and a One-Time Programmable (OTP) memory of 12kB. It can be used as a standalone application processor or as a data pump in hosted systems. The radio transceiver, the baseband processor, and the qualified Bluetooth® low energy stack are fully compliant with the Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3 standard.

Ultra-low power can be achieved using the integrated low IQ buck-boost DC/DC which is on during sleep in buck mode.

The low system cost is achieved through the high level of integration: A complete Bluetooth Low Energy system can be achieved with the addition of six tiny external passives, a crystal, and a power source. And to lower the barrier of entry, DA14535 is also available in an easy-to-use tiny module incorporating all the needed components, making the addition of Bluetooth Low Energy to any application a simple drop-in.

Extended operating temperature range up to 105 °C and extended output power up to 4dBm enable DA14535 to support a wide range of industrial applications, next to connected health, consumer, and IoT applications. Available in a tiny 2.2mm x 3.0mm FCGQFN24 package, the DA14535 is pin-to-pin compatible with its predecessors DA14531 and DA14530. And, it is complemented by a flexible SDK supporting major compilers such as Keil and GCC out of the box.
