Lumileds Gen 4 COB Core Range

The Fourth generation of LUXEON CoB represents a new breakthrough for arrays. The efficacies are >130lm/W for 90CRI products and >170lm/W for 70CRI products. With this new generation, Lumileds has limited the efficiency gap between 80 and 90 CRI COBs by increasing 90CRI performance by 12%. This was made possible notably through Lumileds’ own phosphor development capabilities.

Additionally thermal resistance had been reduced by 25%, allowing more efficient and smaller light fixtures.
