Avnet values and seeks to uphold basic human rights across all our operations and requires its supply-chain partners to adhere to the same standards.

We do not use or tolerate others’ use of forced labor or human trafficking practices, including the exploitation of children. Reasonable working hours and fair wages are provided. All workers have the right to associate, assemble peaceably and communicate concerns with management without fear of discrimination or harassment. We recognize and respect the rights of all individuals regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability or any other legally protected trait. Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct

Avnet supports and has adopted the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct (formerly known as the EICC Code of Conduct) and is actively pursuing conformance to the Code and its standards. Similarly, we expect all our suppliers to align and comply with the same Code in their own operations and supply chain. In alignment with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the provisions of the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct are derived from key international human rights standards including the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
