Toshiba Electronics Europe TCTH0xxAE and TCTH0xxBE

Toshiba extended its range of Thermoflagger™ overtemperature detection ICs with the release of six further devices. 

Thermoflagger™ can be combined with positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistors to detect over-temperature conditions within different systems.

In case a temperature increase is detected countermeasures can be taken if required. 

Thermoflagger™ devices offer a simple and inexpensive, low current consumption solution capable of connecting to several PTC thermistors.

Additional over-temperature protection solutions can be realized by combining them with general temperature sensor ICs.
