LSM6DSV16X and LSM6DSV16BX are system-in-package inertial measurement unit (IMU) featuring a 3-axis digital accelerometer and a 3-axis digital gyroscope with triple channels for processing acceleration and angular rate data for motion tracking on three separate channels with dedicated configuration, processing, and filtering. LSM6DSV16BX also include vibration detection for bone conduction along with Qvar sensing.

 LSM6DSV16X and LSM6DSV16BX embed advanced dedicated features and data processing for motion processing.

STEVAL-MKI234KA:

Accelerometer and gyroscope module for UI and bone conduction kit with Qvar functionality based on LSM6DSV16BX

The STEVAL-MKI234KA evaluation kit is based on the LSM6DSV16BX inertial module with a Qvar electrostatic sensor and three different electrodes (swipe finger and generic) to make it compatible with the STEVAL-MKI109V3.

The kit provides the complete LSM6DSV16BX pinout and comes ready-to-use with the required decoupling capacitors on the VDD power supply line. The STEVAL-MKE00xAA can be plugged into the STEVAL-MKI234A board.

STEVAL-MKI237KA:

LSM6DSV16BX adapter kit for standard DIL24 socket with QVAR and bone conduction functionalities

The STEVAL-MKI237KA evaluation kit is based on an ad hoc PCB, mounting the LSM6DSV16BX inertial module.

There are two different boards inside STEVAL-MKI237KA. One can be used as a standard application board and a small adapter can be put inside the earphone to verify the bone conduction feature.

Both boards can be connected with the STEVAL-MKI109V3 via STEVAL-MKIGI06A interface board.
