Blue multi-mode laser diodes complete our broad InGaN portfolio. The latest member PLPT9 450LB_E offers 5 W optical power and is designed for highly reliable operation. This makes the laser diode ideal for industrial and medical applications. With the help of appropriate optics, the laser light is focused at a point only a few micrometers in diameter. The laser can be directly used as a blue light source or in combination with remote phosphor converters to design high-luminance, compact white and colored light sources.
