Broadcom AS35-M23S 23-bit single-turn absolute encoder module

The Broadcom® AS35-M23S series encoder is a high-resolution optical absolute encoder module, which offers up to 23-bit single-turn resolution. The device is available with an RS-485 standard-compliant communication protocol and supported by a half-duplex differential line transmissions driver. These features offer good noise immunity for robust data transmission at 2.5 Mb/s in harsh industrial applications. A key advantage of the AS35-M23S series is the low-profile module assembly. ESD protection circuitry is designed to meet the industry standard of IEC-61000-4-2, for class 4 applications.
