Generic Reference Design for Wired & Wireless IEEE 1588 features dual PHY and PCIe 3.0. It has flexible architecture implies one chip operation as 5GHz + 2.4GHz with 4T4R MIMO system. The IEEE 1588 is a precise time protocol (PTP) used to synchronize clocks in computer networks. In a local area network, it can control the clock accuracy in the sub-microsecond range, making it suitable for measurement and control systems.
