NXP I Zephyr® RTOS on MCUs A Linux for Micros? - Prague
27 Nov 2024 - 27 Nov 2024
Prague, Czech Republic
While Linux has long been predominant in microprocessor (MPUs) based embedded systems, the availability of operating systems for microcontrollers (MCUs) is quite fragmented. Microcontroller manufacturers sometimes have their proprietary offerings, and FreeRTOS has existed for many years. However, not much provides a feature set that is even close to Linux.
Meanwhile, Zephyr® OS has become an option. Big semiconductor powerhouses are spending a lot of money and effort to have some of their current microcontroller generations supported by Zephyr. Together with NXP Semiconductors, we would like to invite you to a half-day seminar to discuss Zephyr, what it can do, and how it looks and feels on NXPs’ most recent microcontroller family, MCX.
Our speaker, Detlev Zundel, has more than 20 years of experience in the embedded Linux community, as he was previously working for DENX where the "Das U-Boot" boot loader originates from. Therefore, the workshop is also valuable for team leads and not only software developers
