The new IR:6 thin film infrared LED chip technology is available in 850 nm, 940 nm and new 920 nm wavelength options, giving customers a drop in replacement that offers higher brightness and efficiency for a wide range of applications - from precise biometric authentication and advanced machine vision to crystal clear medical imaging or environmental security monitoring.

Overview
Learn how to shape the future with the revolutionary IR:6 LED - an innovation that redefines the possibilities of infrared technology. Boosting up to 35% more brightness and achieving up to 42% increase in efficiency, this next generation IR chips set new benchmarks in performance.

Explore how the device delivers exceptional light output and reliability, even in the toughest conditions, due to optimized thermal management and enhanced optical design. Available in 850 nm, 940 nm, and the newly launched 920 nm wavelength, we’ll dive into low power and high power applications.

Improvements to intrinsic chip efficiency will enable manufacturers of products such as security cameras and biometric authentication systems in PCs and smart doorbells to achieve better illumination for improved image quality. Faster, more accurate recognition of individual biometric markers can be achieved while saving power and extending battery run time between charges. In medical equipment such as light therapy fixtures for the treatment of tissue damage, the higher optical power output from the IR:6 chip will enable equipment manufacturers to use fewer LEDs while producing the same therapeutic effect, saving space and reducing bill of material cost.

Attend this webinar to help shed light on diverse engineering innovations.
