Mick Elliott is a veteran reporter on the electronics industry. In his 50-year career he has covered the globalisation of the semiconductor industry and the component distribution industry as well as the birth and establishment of the electronic design automation sector. He has charted the advance of technologies and products ranging across a number of electronics industry sectors including microprocessors and microcontrollers, application specific ICs (ASICs) to FPGAs, liquid crystal displays to touch capacitive displays.
