Force Sensing / Resistive Keys
Resistive keys (no piezo) behind every thin surface
Force sensing with resistive keys (no piezo) enables sensors to be placed behind any thin surface. This technology detects minimal material deformation—even through 0.8 mm stainless steel—providing precise pressure measurement. The sensor signal is processed via a regulating circuit and algorithm for high accuracy and reliability.

Capacitance or Inductive sensors detect the changes of the distance between electrode pads.

Pressure sensor, after bonding the adhesive at the back of panel, will detect the stress change caused by tiny bending.
Even applying the 100g weight onto the 0.8mm thick stainless steel will output the signal with SNR.

After the pressure sensor was assembled on the cover, it will detect the pressure and output level signal when the tiny bending is occurring on the cover.
The signal from sensor will be transmitted to the system via signal regulating circuit and calculated by algorithm.
