XMC™ is a family of high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M-based MCUs for industrial applications. The XMC7000 is the latest entry in Infineon's XMC™ industrial microcontroller portfolio, equipped with peripherals such as CAN-FD, TCPWM and Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), which increase flexibility and offer added value. The new XMC™ MCU family comes in 2 series (XMC7100 and XMC7200) and offers a single and dual-core Cortex®-M7 Arm® core, both supported by a Cortex®-M0+ enabling designers to optimize their end products to meet the dynamic and demanding business conditions of industrial applications.

XMC7000 Key features:
- Single or dual core Arm® Cortex®-M7 running up to 350 MHz and Cortex®-M0+ with up to 100 MHz
- Up to 8 MB flash and up to 1 MB SRAM
- Advanced peripherals including CAN-FD, Gigabit Ethernet, ADCs and TCPWM timers
- Cryptography engine supporting AES, 3DES, SHA-1/2/3, RSA, ECC, CRC, TRNG

The PSoC™ 6 MCUs, built on an ultra low-power 40-nm platform, feature a dual core CPU architecture of Arm® Cortex®-M4 CPU and Arm® Cortex®-M0+ CPU, with low-power Flash technology, programmable digital and analog resources, a CAN-FD interface for industrial segment applications, and best-in-class CAPSENSE™ technology for touch and proximity applications. Security is built in to the platform architecture with ROM based root of trust (RoT), hardware cryptographic accelerators, memory and peripheral protection units.
PSoC™ 6 MCUs are offered in a variery of packages including BGA, WLCSP, QFN, TQFP, and supports up to 2 MB of flash, 1 MB of on-chip SRAM, and up to 104 GPIOs.
