VEML6046X00 is a high-accuracy RGBIR colour sensor with an I²C interface. It is a high-accuracy colour digital 16-bit resolution sensor in a miniature opaque 2.67mm x 2.45mm package. It includes a high sensitive photodiodes, a low noise amplifier, a 16-bit A/D converter and supports an easy to use I2C bus communication interface and additional interrupt feature. The RGBIR sensor in automotive for display backlight controls, infotainment systems, rear view mirror dimming, interior lighting control systems, head-up displays, colour recognition, CCT measurement, mood lighting.
