NXP Semiconductors MCSPTR2AK396
Motor control kit for 3-phase PMSM/BLDC, powered by S32K396 MCU with integrated safety and real-time tuning tools
The MCSPTR2AK396 is a motor control development kit designed for advanced 3-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and Brushless DC (BLDC) applications. It leverages NXP’s S32K396 automotive microcontroller with an Arm® Cortex®-M7 core and integrated motor control coprocessor (eTPU), along with the MC33937 FET pre-driver for precise motor control. The kit supports Field-Oriented Control (FOC), resolver-based position sensing, and includes FreeMASTER and Motor Control Application Tuning (MCAT) tools. Built on NXP’s Automotive Math and Motor Control Library (AMMCLib) and Real-Time Drivers (RTD), it simplifies development for automotive and industrial electrification systems requiring high precision and functional safety.
