The NL9620 is a new high-precision, low-power instrumentation amplifier engineered for the most demanding sensor interface and measurement applications. The NL9620 delivers exceptional performance with a design that maximizes accuracy, robustness, and power efficiency. It addresses the needs of industrial instrumentation, portable equipment, and battery-powered systems. It operates over a wide gain range from 1 to 10,000, adjustable with a single external resistor, and maintains precision through its low input offset voltage (max. 125 µV at 25 °C) and minimal drift (1 µV/°C max). Its low input bias current of 2 nA and high common-mode rejection ratio of 110 dB make it ideal for sensing minute signals from applications like strain gauges, flow meters, pressure sensors, and weigh scales. This amplifier is designed using a bipolar architecture and incorporates a built-in EMI filter, which significantly enhances immunity to high-frequency electromagnetic interference - such as noise from mobile phones and wireless devices. This integrated filter reduces the need for external EMI suppression components and ensures stable, low-noise performance in electrically noisy environments. Furthermore, it supports supply voltages ranging from ±2.3 V to ±18 V, and consumes only 0.9 mA typical. The dynamic performance delivered by the NL9620 is excellent, with a wide -3 dB bandwidth of 1 MHz at a gain of 1. Its low input-referred noise (13 nV/√Hz max. at 1 kHz) and minimized input offset make it highly suitable for precision measurements. These features, combined with the integrated EMI filtering, provide strong resistance to radio frequency interference and contribute to accurate signal acquisition even in environments with substantial electromagnetic noise. Comprehensive protection features and wide input voltage handling further ensure robustness in demanding applications.
