The K3851-R represents a comprehensive industrial computing platform designed for demanding real-time and networking applications. Core processing capabilities include support for up to 125W TDP Intel processors with DDR5-4800/5600 ECC memory up to 192GB across four DIMM slots, while Intel® UHD Graphics 7xx provides quad DisplayPort V1.4a outputs supporting up to 8K resolution.
Advanced networking features distinguish the platform with triple Ethernet connectivity combining 1x Intel Gigabit port with iAMT management capabilities and 2x Intel 2.5 Gigabit ports supporting Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and advanced teaming. The integrated Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (TCC) enables precise real-time application control, while comprehensive I/O includes four COM ports, 8-bit GPIO, and extensive USB connectivity with both Gen1 and Gen2 capabilities.
Expansion options are extensive on the full ATX platform, featuring PCIe slots including Gen5 x16, Gen4 x16/x8, and Gen3 x1 configurations, plus a traditional 32-bit PCI slot for legacy device compatibility. Storage capabilities include dual M.2 2230/2242/2280 slots for NVMe SSDs with RAID support, four SATA 6G ports with RAID 0/1/5/10, and dedicated M.2 2230 slot for WiFi/Bluetooth modules with CNVi support.
Designed for 24/7 continuous operation with enhanced temperature range up to 60°C, the K3851-R supports Windows and Linux operating systems with comprehensive BIOS features including configurable TDP, advanced power management, and hardware watchdog functionality.
