Highly sensitive ambient light sensor with flicker detection
The TSL2522 features highly-sensitive ambient light sensing in a low-profile and small footprint package.
The devices incorporate a set of Photopic and infrared (IR) photodiodes. In addition, the TSL2522 includes ambient light and flicker detection for camera enhancement.

- Concurrent Photopic and IR light sensing channels
- Independent ADC modulators with up to 4096x gain and programmable gain and integration time
- Up to 7kHz flicker detection (14kHz sampling)
- 1.8VDD operation, configurable sleep mode, I2C 1Mbit/S fast mode with on-chip data compression
- 2 x 1 x 0.5 mm OLGA package with edgeplaced photodiodes
