AS1163 (9-output) and AS1163B (6-output) Stand-Alone Intelligent LED Driver optimized for complex dynamic lighting applications

The communication protocol supported by both products is Open System Protocol (OSP), which makes the SAID and SAID2 fully compatible with the ams OSRAM OSIRE E3731i. Both will support additional features such as I²C gateway, parallel connection, power-rail feedback, analog readout. The SAID AS1163 drives 9 single color LEDs (3 × 48mA; 6 × 24mA) or 3 RGB LEDs (toplooker and sidelooker both). OSP protocol: Up to 1000 nodes at 2.4Mbit/s; open and free. The product can support mid power LEDs or work as haptic driver by enabling the channel clustering feature. SAID2 AS1163B drives 6 single color LEDs (6 × 48mA) or 2 RGB LEDs (toplooker and sidelooker both). OSP protocol: Up to 1000 nodes at 2.4Mbit/s; open and free. Both products support parallel branches: One Controller controls up to 8 parallel branches; Simplified system complexity; Reduced hardware cost (such as cables, PCBs).
