Renesas RRM12120

The RRM12120 is a fully PMBus enabled DC/DC power supply capable of delivering up to 20A of current from a thermally enhanced BGA package.

Operating across an input range of 4.75V to 15V, the RRM12120 offers adjustable output down to 0.45V and achieves up to 94% efficiency.

The RRM12120 implements the proprietary Renesas digital synthetic current modulation scheme to achieve an industry-leading combination of transient response, ease of tuning, and efficiency across the full load range.

A standard PMBus provides real-time telemetry and point-of-load monitoring, and detailed fault reporting.

Available tools

The Renesas PowerNavigator™ can be used to configure and monitor the device. Soft start/soft-stop time, TON/TOFF delay, V_OUT transition rate can be easily configured using the PowerNavigator tool. V_IN UVLO and its hysteresis amongst the various parameters, can be configured in the PowerNavigator without the need for hardware modification.
