The R5449Z is 1-Cell Li-Ion / Polymer battery protection IC providing detector circuits for overcharge, overdischarge, discharge / charge overcurrent, and temperature. The IC can drive external high-side N-channel MOSFETs and provides a high-accuracy detection at overcharge and overcurrent, and a high-accuracy charge inhibition for 0V battery. Furthermore, the IC can reduce the supply current after overdischarge detection to a minimum by stopping the internal circuits. Using the additional CTL pin can force the IC into standby mode.

    • VSHORT configurable range varies depending on a set value for VDET3.
    • 0 V battery charge inhibition voltage: 1.25 V to 2.00 V (in 0.05V step, ±50 mV)
