600mA step-down switching regulator with a wide input voltage
The NJW1933 is a buck switching regulator IC with a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 40V. It makes it suitable for several applications such as 12 V and / or 24 V industrial power supplies. It uses a low ESR output capacitor (MLCC), high operating frequency of 500kHz, it is internally compensated and is available in a small SOT-23-6 package. Therefore, the NJW1933 is very suitable to reduce boardspace and requires only a few tiny external parts. As for protection circuits, it has a soft start function, overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown circuit.
