Broadcom ACPL-C78A
Isolation Amplifier, 5 kV, 4.5V to 5.5V, SOIC, 8 pins, 100 kHz
The ACPL-C78A-000E is a miniature Isolation Amplifier designed for current sensing in electronic motor drive and automotive applications. The high CMR capability of amplifier provides the precision and stability needed to accurately monitor motor current and DC rail voltage in high noise motor control environments, providing for smoother control in various types of motor control applications. It can also be used for general analogue signal isolation applications requiring high accuracy, stability and linearity under similarly severe noise conditions. In a typical implementation the current flow through an external resistor and the resulting analogue voltage drop is sensed by the amplifier.
