Taiwan Semiconductor PerFET™ MOSFETs (NH series) are a family of products built on proprietary device structures and processes that enable exceptionally low on-state resistance and switching figure-of-merit (FOM - R*Q); This puts the portfolio at the industry leading edge of performance. The process of PerFET™ is AEC-Q qualified and available for industrial and automotive applications.

This initial 40V N-Channel platform includes options for both standard level (10V) and logic level (5V) gate-drive requirements while preserving rugged safe-operating resistance to switching voltage transients and avalanche concerns in switching applications.

Additional features

Taiwan Semiconductor 40V N-Channel Power MOSFETs are designed to operate on PerFET™ power transistor technology and operate at 40V Drain Source Voltage (VDS). These MOSFETs feature an ultra-low on-resistance and switching figure-of-merit FOM - R*Q) and wettable flank leads for enhanced AOI. The PerFET™ device’s achievement of 50% R_DS(ON) and 40% FOM reduction using Split Gate Technology puts this new portfolio at the industry’s leading edge of performance. The value of R_DS(ON) at temperatures of -50°C to 175°C present less variation due to its lower temperature coefficient (K). The 40V N-Channel PerFET™ platform includes options for both standard (10V) and logic level (5V) gate-drive requirements while preserving rugged safe-operating area margin when switching voltage transients and avalanche occurs in switching applications.

The PerFET™ MOSFETs are halogen-free, RoHS compliant, and 100% UIS and Rg tested. Typical applications of N-Channel power MOSFETs include DC-DC converters, load switches, solenoids, and BLDC motor drivers.
