The STM32U535 and U545 complement STM32U5 family by extending the memory with lower density.
For both series, packages are 100% pin-to-pin compatible within the family

Additional features
STM32U5 ultra-low-power portfolio extension contains following features:
- An Arm® Cortex®-M33 processor core running at 160 MHz with TrustZone® for Armv8-M
- Digital signal processing (DSP)
- A floating-point unit (FPU)
- All the packages are available with or without an embedded SMPS (DC/DC buck voltage regulator).
The STM32U535 and STM32U545 family offers from 128 to 512 Kbytes of flash memory and from 48- to 100-pin packages.
- The STM32U545 provides additional encryption accelerator engine (AES, PKA, and OTFDEC).
The STM32U595 and STM32U5A5 family offers from 2 to 4 Mbytes of flash memory and from 64- to 169-pin packages.
- An additional encryption accelerator engine is also included (AES, PKA, and OTFDEC) for the STM32U5A5 MCUs.
STM32U599 and STM32U5A9 family embed ST’s advanced NeoChrom graphic processing unit (GPU). This 2.5D graphic accelerator helps developers easily enhance the following features in their GUI:
- Simple & advanced drawing
- 2D text copy
- Alpha blending
- Color format conversion
- Scaling, rotation
- Perspective correct texture mapping (mapping a 2D texture into a 3D surface)
- Image format compression
Offloading these computations to the NeoChrom GPU increases the number of frames per second, making it possible to run complex UIs on MCUs.
