Nisshinbo Micro Devices R5460N5
Two-cell Li-Ion battery protection IC
The R5460N5 is a protection ICs designed for a two-cell Li-ion/polymer battery. It is equipped with standard features such as overcharge/over-discharge voltage and charge/discharge overcurrent detection. With a wide overcurrent detection range, the protection IC can easily handle any challenging overcurrent event. Thanks to its low standby current, the device can operate for an extended period of time. The FET-sense current detection guarantees high accuracy in over-current and short-circuit detection, making it an indispensable tool for any battery-powered device. The device also provides an option to select 0 V battery charging.
