The LDO voltage regulator provides an output current of 1A, an ultra-low noise output of 3.7 μVrms and high ripple rejection of 80 dB (f = 10 kHz). The built-in "soft-start' function controls the slope of the output voltage during power up and is available in two different start-up rates. The NR1641 offers three different operating modes; a mode pin selects between operation in a fixed fast response mode or automatically switches between fast response and low power mode based on output power demand. The chip enable pin selects the on/off mode and disables the regulator to minimise power consumption.
