The Murata type 2EG BLE Module based on the onsemi RSL15 chipset incorporates the Antenna function, main X'tal and LPO X'tal in the 7.4*7.0mm package and supports an option to use an external antenna.  The RSL15 supports low power consumption and a deep sleep mode current at less than 40nA making this module suitable for a wide range of battery operated devices. With the high level of integration the type 2EG enables designers to focus on product functionality rather than RF design.

Available tools

Murata has a Module Evaluation Kit (EVK) to support evaluation and application development. It consists of the type 2EG module and a programming chip, the approach is similar to the RSL15 EVB.

Application development and the onsemi RSL15 SDK should be used to develop the Application. The Murata EVK is p/n LBCA1HN2EG-EVK.
