X1600/X1600E - dual core MPUs powerful compute engine with real-time control
X1600 & X1600E are dual-CPU multi-app MPUs each of which contain 2 CPU cores - an XBurst1 (a MIPS based 1-GHz) and an XBurst0 (MIPS based 240MHz). Those 2 CPU cores combine the computing capacity of application processors with the real-time control ability and outstanding power efficiency of MCUs and cross-over application domains. As a system-on-a-chip, X1600 has 32MB LPDDR2 and X1600E has 64 MB LPDDR2, so that a Linux based application can run on these. Each of these MPU are packed with peripherals – unmatched compared to any other MPU in the market offering best price performance.
