48-Channel LED driver IC with 33MHz serial bus for control panels and message display boards
The IS31FL3248 is a 48-channel constant current LED driver with 16-bit PWM engine and 64 steps of current adjustment. LED current adjustment for channel and RGB group brightness can be programmed via a 33MHz serial interface. Programmable algorithms minimize audible noise that can result from MLCC decoupling capacitor.
Usage examples are LED control panels for commercial or industrial applications that include banks of 7-segment displays, single LED indicators as well as arrays of LEDs that form grids or panels for message boards or mini-LED backlighting. Cascade operation enables the control of large LED signage displays.
