2-channel LED and VCSEL driver IC with integrated boost converter and high output currents
The AS1170 is a 2-channel LED/VCSEL/laser driver for high output currents of up to 2000mA. It is a very versatile part due to its integrated boost converter and the possibility to control both channels independently as well as in a combined mode. The AS1170 features integrated circuit protection functions and an automatic battery lifetime extension mode.
With its WLCSP it is still small and therefore cost effective, making it the ideal choice for battery driven applications or applications with high current needs and space constraints.
