ST’s 256Kbit EEPROM SO8N enhances communication time by increasing consumption effectiveness and clock frequency at low supply voltage. Thus, this product has no more hard pins and so plenty of new features.

This Software Configurable Device Address register allows and makes easier multiple EEPROM insertions on a same I2C bus.

Thanks to the identification page, this product proposes a space to store definitively sensitive application parameters.

Clock frequency up to 1MHz helps to reduce module wake up and master/slave communication time.

New design embeds only 5 activated pins over 8, which will offer PCB cost reduction.
