STMicroelectronics ISOSD61
High accuracy isolated Sigma-Delta modulator

The ISOSD61 is a galvanic isolated second order Sigma-Delta modulator based on embedded transformer coupling technology. It converts an analog input signal with maximum range of ±320mV into a high speed, 25 Msps, 1-bit digital data stream. The signal information can be rebuilt by means of a digital filtering. The modulator is isolated from the digital I/O section through a high-speed isolated data coupling, whose performances are far better than other isolated transceivers like optocouplers.

3-phase full shunt current meter evaluation board based on ISOSD61 and STM32F413RH
The EVALST-3PHISOSD evaluation board implements a complete 3-phase current meter with low-cost shunt current sensors. The solution is based on the ISOSD61 device, a single channel, galvanically isolated, second order sigma-delta modulator, measuring current for each phase through a shunt current sensor. Sensing circuitry and PCB layout are optimized to maximize signal-to-noise ratio for optimal accuracy.

Evaluation board for ISOSD61L isolated sigma-delta converter
The EVALST-ISOSD61L is a full-featured evaluation board designed to allow the user to evaluate all the features of the ISOSD61L isolated analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The ISOSD61L device is a 1-bit sigma-delta modulator with an output buffer separated from the input interface circuitry by a galvanic isolation barrier.

Evaluation board for ISOSD61 isolated sigma-delta converter
The EVALST-ISOSD61T is a full-featured evaluation board designed to allow the user to evaluate all the features of the ISOSD61 isolated analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The ISOSD61 device is a 1-bit sigma-delta modulator with an output buffer separated from the input interface circuitry by a galvanic isolation barrier. The isolation barrier provides galvanic isolation of up to 6000 VPEAK. When used in combination with a digital filter, the ISOSD61 device can be used to achieve 16-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion with no missing codes.
